Kuwait city: The Kuwaiti Ministry of Electricity, Water, and Renewable Energy announced Friday morning that one of the power and water desalination plants was attacked by Iran.
According to Bahrain News Agency, the official spokesperson for the Ministry, Engineer Fatima Hayat, stated that the attack occurred at dawn on Friday, causing material damage to some components of the plant. The incident prompted immediate action from technical and emergency teams, who implemented approved emergency plans to address the repercussions and maintain operational efficiency. The efforts were carried out in full coordination with security and relevant authorities to secure the affected sites.
Hayat urged the public to remain calm, advising them to rely on official sources for information and to avoid being influenced by rumors. She assured that the Ministry will continue to monitor developments transparently.
