Shura Council member Hala Ramzi Fayez has been elected today as Vice Chair of the Inter-Parliamentary Union (IPU) Women’s Office.
Shura Council Chairman Ali bin Saleh Al Saleh congrauted Ms. Fayez on her election, which recognized her competence and outstanding contributions, wishing her success in her efforts to further her achievements.
Representative of the Arab Group to the Women Parliamentarians Forum Ms. Fayez took pride in representing the Kingdom of Bahrain at this IPU arena, which reflects Bahraini women parliamentarians’ role.
She commended the efforts made by the Inter-Parliamentary Union at all levels, especially with regard to women’s issues.
She also highlighted the IPU activities in light of the current circumstances that the world is going through due to the outbreak of the novel coronavirus (COVID-19).
