Manama: The Institute of Public Administration (IPA) signed a framework for joint cooperation with the Department of Government Enablement (DGE) in Abu Dhabi, United Arab Emirates, to enhance collaboration and exchange expertise in designing, developing, and implementing training programmes for government employees. The agreement was signed by Dr. Shaikha Rana bint Isa bin Daij Al Khalifa, Director General of IPA, and Dr. Yasir Ahmed Al Naqbi, Director General of the GovAcademy of DGE. According to Bahrain News Agency, Dr. Shaikha Rana emphasised the importance of enhancing cooperation to advance institutional work in both countries, noting IPA's commitment to designing programmes that address actual training needs and adapt to rapid changes in government operations, in line with international standards. On his part, Dr. Al Naqbi highlighted DGE's commitment to developing leadership programmes for national talent, focusing on enhancing knowledge and professional capabilities. He noted that the partnership w ith IPA will employ a structured approach involving courses, workshops, lectures, and conferences aimed at fostering excellence in government work. The initiative also seeks to leverage successful international practices and modern administrative knowledge to support public sector development.
