Raffa: The Interior Ministry Showjumping team continued to secure first-place positions on the second day of the Khalid bin Hamad One Star International Show Jumping Championship. Organised by the Bahrain Royal Equestrian and Endurance Federation (BREEF), the event was held at the Military Sports Association's field in Raffa in the presence of Shaikh Abdullah bin Mohammed Al Khalifa, Chairman of the Showjumping Committee of BREEF.
According to Bahrain News Agency, Major General Abdulaziz Al Rumaihi, the team supervisor, extended his congratulations to General Shaikh Rashid bin Abdullah Al Khalifa, the Interior Minister, for the team's success. He also commended the continuous follow-up by Lieutenant General Tariq Al Hassan, Chief of Public Security, on all the teams' participation in local, regional, and international competitions, which has led to the team's outstanding achievements in various sports events.
He also expressed appreciation to His Highness Shaikh Isa bin Abdullah Al Khalifa, President of BREEF, and Shaikh Abdullah bin Mohammed Al Khalifa, Head of the Showjumping Committee, for their organisational efforts. He also thanked the Military Sports Association for their contributions in preparing the successful event.
