A delegation from the Ministry of Interior has participated in the third session of the Arab Coordination Mechanism for Disaster Risk Reduction in Cairo.
The session discussed mechanisms for disaster risk reduction and the guide for health risks and its implementation, and reviewed preparations for the Fifth Arab Regional Platform for Disaster Risk Reduction to be held in Morocco in November.
Director of the Protection and Safety Directorate and Head of the Executive Office of the National Committee of Disaster Management Colonel Dr. Mohammad Khalifa Al Benghadir noted the national strategic vision for disaster management and risk reduction in Bahrain that stresses the importance of combined action to manage and limit disasters risk and exchange expertise.
