Interior Ministry Celebrates Bahraini Women’s Day with Ceremony Honoring Achievements.

Manama: The Interior Ministry celebrated Bahraini Women's Day with a ceremony organised by the General Directorate of Women Police in collaboration with the Equal Opportunity Committee. The event honoured distinguished ministry affiliates and winners of the 'Ministry of Interior Pioneers' Award. According to Bahrain News Agency, Shaikh Nasser bin Abdulrahman Al Khalifa, Undersecretary of the Interior Ministry, praised the support of Her Royal Highness Princess Sabeeka bint Ibrahim Al Khalifa, Consort of His Majesty the King and President of the Supreme Council for Women (SCW), for her efforts in promoting the role of women in Bahrain's development through equal opportunities. This initiative is under the leadership of His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa. He also acknowledged the efforts of General Shaikh Rashid bin Abdullah Al Khalifa, Minister of Interior, in supporting Bahraini women and enhancing their contributions and productivity in the workplace. Major General Mona Abdulrahim, Director Gene ral of Women Police, expressed her gratitude to HRH Princess Sabeeka for her continuous support of Bahraini women, which has facilitated their progress in various sectors. She noted that Bahraini women have proven their capabilities in police work, becoming an integral part of the security system under the directives of the Interior Minister, who has enabled them to assume significant roles and responsibilities in the ministry. Shaikha Mashael bint Khalifa Al Khalifa, Assistant Undersecretary for Planning and Organisation and head of the Equal Opportunity Committee, praised the skills and competencies of Bahraini women. She highlighted the efforts of SCW, led by HRH Princess Sabeeka, in ensuring a dignified life for Bahraini women and empowering them to participate in decision-making and take on leadership roles. Shaikha Mashael bint Khalifa also commended the support of the Interior Minister in providing equal employment opportunities for Bahraini women and ensuring their career advancement.
