Interior Minister General Shaikh Rashid bin Abdullah Al Khalifa visited the Special Security Force on Thursday to inspect the security and field preparedness of the force.
He was received by Chief of Public Security Lt-General Tariq Al Hassan and the Commander of the Special Security Force.
The minister was briefed on the development plans of the force to enhance preparedness and readiness rates to meet the ministry’s development strategy of security authorities, performance excellence, law enforcement and general order protection.
He expressed thanks and appreciation to all the force’s affiliates for their prominent role in protecting the security and stability of the nation. He also hailed their sacrifices, commitment to the law and protection of national accomplishments.
He asserted the importance of enhancing efficiency, capabilities, and performance by developing skills and rehabilitating the workforce through training programmes. Also, equip them with the latest equipment. Finally, he wished the affiliates all the best in performing duties.
The Special Security Force Commander expressed thanks and appreciation to Interior Minister’s ongoing directives and support to enhance competency and preparedness in all situations.
He conveyed the appreciation of the force’s affiliates for the support and encouragement of the minister to carry out their role in defending the nation and its accomplishments.
