Manama: General Shaikh Rashid bin Abdullah Al Khalifa, the Minister of Interior and Chairman of the Ministerial Follow-up Committee for the National Plan to Promote the Spirit of Belonging to the Nation and Reinforce the Values of Citizenship, Bahrainouna, visited the Gadeha Junior training camp to review its training and educational programmes and activities, as well as its integrated experience aimed at developing the capabilities of young participants.
According to Bahrain News Agency, the minister expressed gratitude to His Highness Lieutenant General Shaikh Nasser bin Hamad Al Khalifa, the National Security Advisor and Royal Guard Commander and Chairman of the Supreme Council for Youth and Sports, for his initiatives to organise the camp and launch its specialised programmes and activities. He also acknowledged the follow-up efforts of His Highness Brigadier Shaikh Khalid bin Hamad Al Khalifa, Commander of Special Operations at the Royal Guard.
General Shaikh Rashid bin Abdullah was briefed on the camp's concept and objectives, the mechanisms of training and supervision, and the progress of its programmes and activities. He also observed parts of various training sessions and programmes designed for young participants, which include physical training, personal skills development, and the promotion of commitment, discipline, self-reliance, and national belonging.
The Minister praised the participation and engagement of the young attendees, emphasizing the high standard of the Gadeha Junior camp. He stated that the camp is timely and underscores the national commitment to strengthening national identity and the values of loyalty and belonging, placing significant responsibility on specialised programmes and national projects in shaping the future.
General Shaikh Rashid bin Abdullah highlighted that the camp's programmes and activities are instrumental in reinforcing the values of citizenship, loyalty, and belonging, fostering teamwork, and equipping young participants with skills that will have a positive impact on their future and enable them to contribute effectively to serving the Kingdom.
The minister extended his appreciation to the camp organisers and all working teams for their efforts in preparing and implementing the specialised programmes and activities. He commended the commitment of the participants and the role of the training environment in discovering their potential and directing it towards serving the Kingdom. He wished them success and encouraged them to use the experience to strengthen national values and build a conscious generation capable of assuming responsibility and serving the Kingdom.
