Interior Minister, General Shaikh Rashid bin Abdullah Al Khalifa, received today a delegation from the British House of Commons. Bahrain Ambassador to the UK, Shaikh Fawaz bin Mohammed Al Khalifa and Chief of Public Security, Lt-General Tariq Al Hassan attended the meeting.
The Interior Minister welcomed the British officials for their visit to take part in the annual Manama Dialogue 2021. He briefed the delegation about the efforts of the Interior Ministry to protect security and public safety. He said that human rights are a civil legacy and part of Bahraini society’s culture. He added that such a legacy represents a national success backed by the visions of His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa.
The meeting reviewed historical ties between the two countries and security cooperation.
