Manama: General Shaikh Rashid bin Abdullah Al Khalifa, Minister of Interior, held a meeting with Jason Isaacson, Chief Policy and Political Affairs Officer at the American Jewish Committee (AJC), during the 21st IISS Manama Dialogue 2025.
According to Bahrain News Agency, General Shaikh Rashid welcomed Isaacson to the Kingdom of Bahrain, emphasizing the significance of his participation in the Manama Dialogue, a key international forum for political and strategic discussions. General Shaikh Rashid underscored Bahrain's commitment, under the guidance of His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa, to contributing to global efforts for promoting security and peace.
The minister further highlighted the strong relations and strategic partnership between Bahrain and the United States, particularly in the realm of regional security and the maintenance of international peace. He pointed out Bahrain's notable levels of safety and stability, as demonstrated by the record-low national crime rate achieved through community partnership initiatives and effective social security programs.
The meeting also served as a platform to review bilateral relations and explore areas of cooperation, alongside addressing several issues of common interest.
