Zallaq: General Shaikh Rashid bin Abdullah Al Khalifa, Minister of Interior, officially opened the new Zallaq Police Station. The minister unveiled a commemorative plaque to mark the official opening of the new facility.
According to Bahrain News Agency, General Shaikh Rashid bin Abdullah expressed his appreciation for the ongoing support of His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa, as well as the guidance of His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, Crown Prince and Prime Minister. These leaders have been pivotal in driving the ministry's modernisation and development initiatives, alongside launching forward-thinking programmes to deliver contemporary security services.
The minister commended the efforts of the police directorates across the governorates for providing advanced security services and fostering community partnership and engagement with all sectors of society. He noted that the opening of the Zallaq Police Station is part of a comprehensive strategy to transform police stations into integrated service centres and enhance overall security performance.
During his visit, the minister was briefed on the station's advanced security services, including the introduction of electronic reporting, an innovative solution connecting citizens and residents to the police quickly and efficiently. This new system also supports security patrol units equipped with modern technology, in line with the ministry's objectives to ensure a safe environment through rapid response and heightened readiness.
The minister toured the new facilities, reviewed operational procedures and vehicle support areas, and stressed the importance of maintaining high standards of responsiveness to ensure the safety and security of all citizens and residents.
