Manama: General Shaikh Rashid bin Abdullah Al Khalifa, Minister of Interior, met with Khalil Yaqoob Al Khayyat, Bahrain's Ambassador-designate to the Kingdom of Thailand, and Ahmed Ibrahim Al Qurnais, Bahrain's Ambassador-designate to the Federal Republic of Germany.
According to Bahrain News Agency, the minister extended his congratulations to the newly appointed ambassadors for earning the royal trust in their diplomatic roles and wished them success in their missions to represent Bahrain on the international stage. He praised the experience and professionalism inherent in Bahraini diplomacy, highlighting its significant role in supporting state institutions to safeguard national interests under the leadership of His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa, with the backing of His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, the Crown Prince and Prime Minister.
The discussion during the meeting also covered security cooperation programs and coordination efforts between Bahrain, Thailand, and Germany, as well as exploring future opportunities for joint actions. The ambassadors conveyed their gratitude to the minister for his dedication to enhancing collaboration and commended his vision in promoting Bahrain's national interests.
