Islamabad: Lieutenant General Theyab bin Saqr Al Nuaimi, Chief of Staff of the Bahrain Defence Force, engaged in a series of high-level meetings with key figures in Pakistan's defence establishment during his visit to the country. He initiated discussions with Khawaja Muhammad Asif, Federal Minister for Defence of the Islamic Republic of Pakistan.
According to Bahrain News Agency, Lt. Gen. Theyab bin Saqr's visit also included separate meetings with notable figures in Pakistan's military leadership. These included Air Chief Marshal Zaheer Ahmed Baber Sidhu, Chief of the Air Staff of the Pakistan Air Force, and Admiral Naveed Ashraf, Chief of Naval Staff of the Pakistan Navy. His engagements further extended to a meeting with General Sahir Shamshad Mirza, Chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff Committee of the Armed Forces of Pakistan.
These discussions underscore the collaborative efforts between Bahrain and Pakistan to enhance bilateral defence relations and explore new avenues for military cooperation.
