Manama: General Shaikh Rashid bin Abdullah Al Khalifa, Minister of Interior, participated in the Ministry's celebration of Bahrain Police Day, an event that coincided with the country's National Day festivities. These celebrations mark the founding of modern Bahrain as an Arab Islamic state by Ahmed Al Fateh in 1783 and commemorate the anniversary of His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa's accession. According to Bahrain News Agency, the minister was welcomed by senior officials, including Lieutenant General Adel bin Khalifa Al Fadhel, Deputy Minister of Interior, and Lieutenant General Tariq Hassan Al Hassan, Chief of Public Security. The event commenced with a ceremonial salute followed by a parade review conducted by the minister. In his address, General Shaikh Rashid bin Abdullah expressed pride in the alignment of Bahrain Police Day with National Day celebrations. He acknowledged the steadfast support from His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa and His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al K halifa, the Crown Prince and Prime Minister. The minister emphasized ongoing efforts to enhance the capabilities of the police force to ensure the security and stability of Bahrain's citizens while safeguarding the nation's achievements. General Shaikh Rashid also reflected on the comprehensive development process led by His Majesty the King, which has bolstered political openness, coexistence, and respect, contributing to a secure and inclusive society. He highlighted the development of Bahrain's security framework, focusing on organizational restructuring, leadership cultivation, and community trust-building to foster a collaborative approach to public safety. The minister paid tribute to the sacrifices made by Bahrain's police officers and fallen servicemen, underscoring their dedication and professionalism.
