Manama: Yousif Mohammed Al Binkhalil, Undersecretary of the Ministry of Information, attended the closing ceremony of the "Media Content Creation through Artificial Intelligence Applications" training programme, organised by the ministry's AI Creators Lab. The Undersecretary emphasised the ministry's commitment to innovation and the importance of integrating AI technologies into media to enhance workforce skills and support digital transformation.
According to Bahrain News Agency, Al Binkhalil underscored the significance of continuing such training programmes to familiarise participants with AI applications in the workplace, aiming to improve productivity and service quality. He commended the participation of government entities, reflecting a growing interest in the ministry's initiatives.
Al Binkhalil expressed appreciation for the AI Creators Lab team and wished the 26 graduates success in applying their newly acquired skills. Participants included representatives from the Ministry of Information, the Northern Governorate, Government Hospitals, the Education and Training Quality Authority, the Bahrain Institute for Political Development, and the National Institution for Human Rights.
The programme, led by AI Team Leader Muhannad Suleiman Al Nuaimi, focused on developing skills in prompt writing for AI tools, visual and audio content generation, infographic design, data analysis, and virtual character creation. The training aimed to enhance media capabilities and equip participants to use advanced digital tools in their work.
