Information Ministry Undersecretary Engages in Arab Media Talks in Kuwait

Kuwait city: Yousef Mohammed AlBinkhalil, Undersecretary of the Ministry of Information, participated in the 104th regular session of the Arab Permanent Committee on Information, held in the State of Kuwait. Undersecretary AlBinkhalil emphasized Bahrain's commitment to supporting joint Arab media action and enhancing coordination and integration among Arab countries in the media sector. He stressed that this participation aligns with the vision of His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa and the directives of His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, the Crown Prince and Prime Minister.

According to Bahrain News Agency, discussions at the session included several agenda items such as the implementation of Arab media action plans within their institutional framework, developing mechanisms to regulate digital media, enhancing media professionalism, and supporting purposeful messages and responsible content. The meeting also reviewed initiatives aimed at coordinating Arab media positions on issues of common interest.

Undersecretary AlBinkhalil acknowledged Kuwait's efforts in hosting the session and noted its supportive role in promoting Arab media cooperation. He extended his gratitude to the General Secretariat of the Arab League - Media and Communication Sector, and the Executive Office of the Arab Information Ministers for their ongoing coordination and cooperation to strengthen integration and enhance the Arab media system.
