Information Minister Participates in National Tree Week Activities

Isa town: In line with the directives of His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, the Crown Prince and Prime Minister, Dr. Ramzan bin Abdulla Al Noaimi, Minister of Information, participated in Tree Week activities by planting trees at the Ministry of Information complex in Isa Town.

According to Bahrain News Agency, Yousif Mohammed Albinkhalil, Undersecretary of the Ministry of Information; Ahmed Khalid Al Arifi, Chief Executive Officer of the National Communication Centre (NCC); and a number of media professionals were present during the event.

The initiative is part of Bahrain's national afforestation plan, which aims to plant 3.6 million trees by 2035. This effort aligns with the Kingdom's vision to achieve carbon neutrality by 2060.
