Manama: Dr. Ramzan bin Abdulla Al Noaimi, Minister of Information, emphasized His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa's speech during the inauguration of the fourth session of the sixth legislative term, which outlined a framework for advancing the national media landscape in line with rapid digital developments and reinforcing the freedom of opinion and expression.
According to Bahrain News Agency, the Minister stated that His Majesty's address serves as a comprehensive national roadmap, reflecting aspirations for a more prosperous future while underscoring the confidence in Bahraini citizens as the cornerstone of development. The speech delineated measures to consolidate national values and reinforce consultation and popular participation principles, aiming to advance development across various sectors.
Dr. Al Noaimi praised the speech's acknowledgment of the legislative authority's active role and the support it receives from His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, the Crown Prince and Prime Minister.
