Information Minister hails Bahrain-Jordan fraternal relations

Information Affairs Minister Ali bin Mohammed Al Romaihi hailed strong fraternal relations binding the Kingdom of Bahrain and the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan, led by His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa and HM King Abdulla II ibn Al Hussein.

He made the statement to Jordan News Agency (Petra) on the occasion of the visit of HM King Abdulla II ibn Al Hussein to the Kingdom of Bahrain.

He said that the people of Bahrain value Jordan’s historic and honourable stances in support of the Kingdom of Bahrain and the Arab interests and just causes.

The minister welcomed HM King Abdulla II in Bahrain, adding that exchanged visits between the leaders of the two countries open renewed horizons for joint cooperation.

“Each visit represents a defining moment in the history of outstanding relations between Bahrain and Jordan, supporting common interests and consolidating security, stability and development”, he said.

He stressed the need to step up consultation and coordination, amid global volatile situation, to overcome challenges, hailing the fruitful outcome of the talks between HM the King and the Jordanian monarch.

He hailed the two leaders’ keenness on coordinating efforts to confront regional and international challenges, hoping the results of the visit will further strengthen bilateral relations and expand joint cooperation.
