Information Minister Chairs NCC Board Regular Meeting

Manama: Dr. Ramzan bin Abdulla Al Noaimi, Minister of Information and Chairman of the Board of Directors of the National Communication Centre (NCC), chaired the board's regular meeting, which was held via video conference.

According to Bahrain News Agency, Dr. Al Noaimi highlighted that the Kingdom of Bahrain, under the leadership of His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa and guided by His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, the Crown Prince and Prime Minister, maintains its security and stability through strong national unity and public awareness.

The Information Minister expressed appreciation for the Bahrain Defence Force, the National Guard, the Ministry of Interior, and other security and civil bodies for their roles in countering Iranian attacks and safeguarding the Kingdom's sovereignty. He reiterated Bahrain's denunciation of Iranian attacks on civilians, residential areas, infrastructure, and energy facilities in Bahrain, the Gulf Cooperation Council countries, and the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan. Dr. Al Noaimi urged Iran to cease all hostile actions, halt threats to international shipping in the Strait of Hormuz, and adhere to United Nations Security Council Resolution 2817.

The meeting also evaluated the Centre's operations, with Dr. Al Noaimi commending the staff for their professionalism and readiness in managing communications and developments both locally and internationally, especially during recent events. He praised the strong coordination among government entities.

Additionally, the board reviewed updates on shared communication services and other agenda items aimed at supporting government priorities and enhancing communication efficiency.
