Manama: The Ministry of Industry and Commerce announced the launch of the final review investigation by the Technical Secretariat Office for Anti-Injurious Practices in International Trade of the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) on the anti-dumping duties imposed on imports of hydraulic cement, including clinker, into GCC member states, including the Kingdom of Bahrain.
According to Bahrain News Agency, the investigation covers all types of hydraulic cement, whether coloured or uncoloured, including clinker - a non-ground, lump form of cement - falling under Harmonised System Code (2523) of the GCC Common Customs Tariff, and produced or exported from Iran.
This action is being conducted pursuant to Law (48) of 2011 approving the Amended GCC Common Law on Antidumping, Countervailing Measures and Safeguards Measures and its Executive Regulations.
The ministry invites all manufacturers and importers in the Kingdom dealing with the products listed under the specified customs code, and wishing to participate in the investigation, to register as interested parties. They are requested to complete the relevant forms and submit them via email to [email protected] within 40 days from the date of receipt of the forms.
