Manama: Abdulla bin Adel Fakhro, Minister of Industry and Commerce, met with Nabeel Khalid Kanoo, Chairman of the Board of the Bahrain Chamber of Commerce and Industry, as part of ongoing efforts to strengthen the strategic partnership between the public and private sectors to support economic growth in the Kingdom of Bahrain.
According to Bahrain News Agency, the minister emphasised that the close partnership between the public and private sectors represents a fundamental pillar in driving economic development under the leadership of His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa, and the directives of His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, Crown Prince and Prime Minister.
Minister Fakhro highlighted that strong collaboration between the two sectors is key to advancing development, enhancing competitiveness, and positioning Bahrain as a regional investment hub. He reaffirmed the ministry's commitment to improving the investment environment, empowering the private sector, and supporting industrial and commercial growth.
For his part, Kanoo expressed appreciation for the government's continued support, affirming the Chamber's commitment to aligning its initiatives with national priorities, strengthening the business environment, and boosting the regional and global presence of Bahraini businesses.
