Abu dhabi: Abdulla bin Adel Fakhro, Minister of Industry and Commerce, inaugurated the Bahrain-Hungary Industrial Partnership Forum at the Gulf Hotel, organised by the Bahrain Businessmen's Association in cooperation with the Bahraini-Hungarian Trade Events Foundation, with the participation of a Hungarian trade and industrial delegation.
According to Bahrain News Agency, the minister highlighted the growing relations between the Kingdom of Bahrain and Hungary and emphasised the importance of expanding economic and industrial cooperation to support sustainable development and attract investment. He noted that the forum provides a platform for strengthening private-sector cooperation and advancing practical partnerships and initiatives.
Ahmed Abdullah bin Hindi, Chairman of the Bahrain Businessmen's Association, highlighted Bahrain's business environment and its role in encouraging investment and international partnerships. He underscored the importance of the forum in strengthening cooperation between Bahraini and Hungarian companies.
The forum brought together officials, business leaders, and a Hungarian delegation representing more than 10 companies specialising in engineering, artificial intelligence (AI), renewable energy, and logistics.
Discussions focused on investment opportunities in food technology, water treatment, oil and gas solutions, industrial automation, innovation, and energy efficiency, alongside bilateral meetings between Bahraini and Hungarian investors.
