Bahrain Defence Force Intercepts Iranian Missile and Drone Attacks

Manama: The General Command of the Bahrain Defence Force (BDF) announced that Iran continues its systematic hostile approach through unlawful missile and drone attacks targeting civilians in the Kingdom of Bahrain. The BDF reported successful interception and destruction of several Iranian aerial attacks on the morning of Sunday, July 19, showcasing their firm resolve and high combat readiness.

According to Bahrain News Agency, the General Command confirmed that all its services and units remain at the highest levels of readiness and full defensive preparedness to protect the Kingdom. It urged the public to exercise caution and to avoid handling any suspicious objects resulting from the Iranian attacks, advising immediate reporting of such objects.

The General Command emphasized that personnel of the Royal Field Engineering Unit are on full alert to handle and neutralize these threats, ensuring the safety of citizens and residents. It highlighted that the use of missiles and drones against civilians and private property violates international humanitarian law.

The General Command expressed pride in the advanced combat readiness and vigilance demonstrated by its personnel in fulfilling their duty to defend the nation.
