Abu dhabi: Abdulla bin Adel Fakhro, Minister of Industry and Commerce, received Steven C. Bondy, the US Ambassador to Bahrain. The meeting discussed several topics of mutual interest.
According to Bahrain News Agency, Minister Fakhro highlighted the deep-rooted bilateral and strategic ties between Bahrain and the United States, particularly in the trade and economic sectors. He commended the joint commitment to strengthening cooperation that contributes to achieving mutual interests and supports sustainable development.
The Minister underscored Bahrain's eagerness to further develop cooperation with the United States and emphasised the Kingdom's ongoing efforts to enhance economic relations globally, especially with countries that have bilateral agreements and treaties with Bahrain.
Additionally, Minister Fakhro emphasised the significant role of the private sector in both countries in leveraging these agreements to strengthen bilateral cooperation across various sectors.
