Manama: Bahrain All Share Index has closed at 1,943.99 points, marking an increase of 0.18 points above the previous closing. This uptick was attributed to positive performances in the financial and industrial sectors.
According to Bahrain News Agency, the Bahrain Islamic Index saw a decline, closing at 828.87 points, which is a decrease of 0.61 points compared to its previous closing. The day's trading activity included 96 equity transactions, with a volume of 2,817,780 shares exchanged, amounting to a total value of BD 562,324.
Investors showed a strong preference for the financial sector, which accounted for 74.67% of the total value of securities traded, demonstrating the sector's dominant role in the market activity for the day.
