Manama: Abdulla bin Adel Fakhro, Minister of Industry and Commerce, participated in a session organised by the British Chamber of Commerce Bahrain, via video conference. Minister Fakhro affirmed that Bahrain-UK relations continue to advance, highlighting the commitment to further developing ties in a manner that enhances investment opportunities and serves shared objectives.
According to Bahrain News Agency, the Industry Minister underscored the importance of strengthening business resilience amid rapid global economic changes and regional developments. He noted the Kingdom of Bahrain's continued efforts to update legislative frameworks and adopt advanced technological solutions to promote a more competitive and resilient business environment aligned with international best practices.
He added that institutional resilience has become essential for achieving sustainable growth and enhancing the competitiveness of the national economy. Minister Fakhro affirmed ongoing efforts to launch initiatives that support business continuity, enhance private sector efficiency, and expand investment opportunities.
The session also included an open discussion with chamber members and investors, during which views were exchanged on best practices to enhance trade cooperation and strengthen private sector readiness to address future challenges. The meeting saw wide participation from chamber members, business leaders, and investors, who contributed insights on developing flexible business models capable of adapting to global changes. They expressed appreciation for the ongoing cooperation between the Ministry of Industry and Commerce and the British Chamber of Commerce Bahrain in supporting economic partnership and trade relations.
