iGA recipients of the Prince Salman bin Hamad Medal for Medical Merit congratulated

Information & eGovernment Authority (iGA) Chief Executive Mohammed Ali Al Qaed met with a number of iGA team members who received the Prince Salman bin Hamad Medal for Medical Merit.

Al Qaed expressed his gratitude to His Majesty the King, highlighting the important role that the iGA has played throughout the pandemic, with its team members working tirelessly towards supporting Bahrain’s recovery.

He said that HRH the Crown Prince and Prime Minister is committed to the deployment of advanced technologies in enhancing the government’s work and introducing further online services.

He praised the Minister of Interior, Lt. Gen. Rashid bin Abdullah Al Khalifa for his support of the efforts of the taskforce, adding that it had a significant impact on the Kingdom’s digital transformation and improved the quality of government eServices, helping to maintain the continuity the public’s day-to-day government transactions.

Al Qaed congratulated the iGA executives, noting their recent contributions towards public health and safety through the provision of eServices.

He said that the iGA has consistently contributed to efforts to combat the pandemic since its onset, thanks to its team members’ patriotism and sense of responsibility towards their community.

The CEO noted that the awards are a great honor for the iGA’s leadership, which looks forward to continuing its service to the nation. The medal’s recipients expressed their appreciation for the honor, which will motivate them to continue to give back to their country, and for Al Qaed’s and the rest of the iGA team’s support.
