HRH the Deputy King Meets U.S. CENTCOM Commander to Strengthen Strategic Partnership

Riffa: HRH The Deputy King, His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, today received Admiral Charles Bradford Cooper II, Commander of the U.S. Central Command (CENTCOM), along with his delegation, at Riffa Palace. HRH Prince Salman congratulated the Admiral on his new role and wished him success.

According to Bahrain News Agency, HRH the Deputy King emphasized the robust strategic partnership between the Kingdom of Bahrain and the United States, noting a mutual commitment to enhancing these ties. He highlighted the importance of advancing bilateral cooperation, which is supported by longstanding partnerships and joint agreements such as the Comprehensive Security Integration and Prosperity Agreement (CSIPA).

HRH the Deputy King stressed the significance of joint coordination across various sectors, especially in military and defense, to achieve shared goals. The meeting also covered the latest regional and international developments, alongside issues of mutual interest.

HRH Prince Salman underlined the crucial role of the United States and allied nations in maintaining regional and international security and stability. The meeting was attended by His Highness Shaikh Isa bin Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, Minister of the Prime Minister's Court, His Excellency Shaikh Salman bin Khalifa Al Khalifa, Minister of Finance and National Economy, and Lieutenant-General Theyab bin Saqr Al-Nuaimi, Chief of Staff of the Bahrain Defence Force.
