His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, the Crown Prince, Deputy Supreme Commander and Prime Minister, today received the Chairman Joint Chiefs of Staff Committee of the Armed Forces of the Islamic Republic of Pakistan, Gen Nadeem Raza, and an accompanying delegation, at Gudaibiya Palace.
HRH the Crown Prince, Deputy Supreme Commander and Prime Minister highlighted the strength of Bahrain-Pakistan relations and the importance of further enhancing the strategic partnership, particularly regarding military and defence matters.
HRH the Crown Prince, Deputy Supreme Commander and Prime Minister welcomed Gen Raza and his accompanying delegation to the Kingdom of Bahrain.
Regional and international developments, including ways to further bolster bilateral cooperation, were discussed.
For his part, Gen Nadeem Raza expressed his gratitude for the opportunity to meet with HRH the Crown Prince, Deputy Supreme Commander and Prime Minister, noting HRH’s commitment to furthering bilateral relations that benefit both countries.
The Minister of Finance and National Economy, HE Shaikh Salman bin Khalifa Al Khalifa, and the BDF Chief of Staff Lieutenant-General, Theyab bin Saqr Al-Nuaimi, were also in attendance.
