Manama: His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, the Crown Prince, Deputy Supreme Commander of the Armed Forces, and Prime Minister, received a cable of congratulations from His Highness General Shaikh Mohammed bin Isa Al Khalifa, Commander of the National Guard, on the 58th anniversary of the Bahrain Defence Force (BDF).
According to Bahrain News Agency, the National Guard Commander emphasized the support of His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa, Supreme Commander of the Armed Forces, and the directives of His Royal Highness in the development of the Bahrain Defence Force. The Commander expressed wishes for continued progress and prosperity for the Kingdom of Bahrain.
In response, His Royal Highness sent a cable of thanks to the National Guard Commander. HRH the Crown Prince praised the BDF for their achievements and the efficiency and experience they have gained through continuous training and modernisation, affirming their readiness to defend the Kingdom and its resources.
