HRH the Crown Prince and Prime Minister thanked by the Minister of Labour and Social Development

Manama, His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, the Crown Prince and Prime Minister, today received a cable of thanks from the Minister of Labour and Social Development, HEJameel bin Mohammed Humaidan, on the occasion of Labour Day.

The minister extended, on behalf of the Kingdom’s national workforce, his thanks and gratitude to His Royal Highness, marking Labour Day, which is observed all over the world on 1 May.

In the cable, HE Humaidan commended His Royal Highness’ support to the national workforce, noting its role in furthering the Kingdom’s comprehensive development, led by His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa.

HE Humaidan highlighted that Labour Day is observed this year as the labour market is witnessing an important development following the COVID-19 pandemic and the launch of the Economic Recovery Plan, which outlined the stages of advancement through priorities and programmes aimed at strengthening comprehensive economic development.

HE the Minister stated that these efforts will have a positive impact on the labour market, noting HRH the Crown Prince and Prime Minister’s vision to ensure Bahraini citizens remain the first choice in employment and to create promising opportunities for them.

HE the minister wished the Crown Prince and Prime Minister, good health and success on the path of development and progress.
