Riyadh: His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, the Crown Prince and Prime Minister, today received a cable of thanks from King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques. This message was in response to Prince Salman's earlier expression of condolences on the death of Sheikh Abdulaziz bin Abdullah bin Mohammed Al-Sheikh, the Grand Mufti of Saudi Arabia. Sheikh Abdulaziz was notably the head of the Council of Senior Scholars, the General Presidency of Scholarly Research and Ifta, and the Supreme Council of the Muslim World League.
According to Bahrain News Agency, HRH the Crown Prince and Prime Minister also received a similar gesture of gratitude from His Royal Highness Prince Mohammed bin Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, the Crown Prince and Prime Minister of Saudi Arabia. This acknowledgment underscores the close relations and mutual respect between the leadership of Bahrain and Saudi Arabia.
