His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, the Crown Prince and Prime Minister, today received Lord Philip Hammond, a member of the House of Lords of the United Kingdom of Great Britain and Northern Ireland, at Riffa Palace.
His Royal Highness noted the depth of the historical relations between the two countries and their growth and development at all levels.
His Royal Highness highlighted the importance of further strengthening strategic cooperation between the Kingdom of Bahrain and the United Kingdom to achieve common aspirations.
His Royal Highness affirmed that Bahraini-British relations are undergoing continuous development and prosperity thanks to the support they receive from the leadership of the two countries.
Regional and international developments of common interest were also discussed.
The Minister of Finance and National Economy, HE Shaikh Salman bin Khalifa Al Khalifa, also attended the meeting.
