HRH the Crown Prince and Prime Minister Meets Emperor of Japan to Discuss Strategic Partnership

Tokyo: His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, the Crown Prince and Prime Minister, met with His Majesty Emperor Naruhito at the Imperial Palace as part of HRH's official visit to Japan. The meeting emphasized the ongoing efforts to advance bilateral relations between the Kingdom of Bahrain and Japan towards a strategic partnership.

According to Bahrain News Agency, HRH Prince Salman bin Hamad conveyed the greetings of His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa to Emperor Naruhito, expressing wishes for Japan's continued progress and prosperity. In return, Emperor Naruhito extended his greetings to King Hamad and shared his hopes for Bahrain's further development.

The discussions highlighted the importance of enhancing the bilateral partnership to foster opportunities that will support the relationship between the two nations. HRH the Crown Prince and Prime Minister recognized Japan's progress across multiple sectors and appreciated its efforts in preparing for Expo 2025 Osaka, wishing Japan success in achieving the Expo's goals.

The meeting also explored existing avenues of cooperation and considered new opportunities for strengthening and expanding the relationship between Bahrain and Japan. HH Shaikh Isa bin Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, Minister of the Prime Minister's Court, was also in attendance.
