HRH Crown Prince and Prime Minister Engages in Talks with Japanese Foreign Minister

Tokyo: His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, the Crown Prince and Prime Minister of Bahrain, today met with His Excellency Takeshi Iwaya, the Minister for Foreign Affairs of Japan. The meeting was part of His Royal Highness' official visit to Japan.

According to Bahrain News Agency, His Royal Highness emphasized the strategic foundation of Bahraini-Japanese relations, highlighting the shared aspirations and partnerships that foster cooperation across various sectors. The Crown Prince and Prime Minister stressed the importance of enhancing bilateral coordination and nurturing opportunities that benefit both nations and their citizens.

HRH Prince Salman bin Hamad underlined the robust bilateral relations between Bahrain and Japan, acknowledging the ongoing multi-sector progress and development witnessed by both countries. He also noted Japan's significant role in supporting development at various levels and the need to strengthen and unify international efforts to bolster regional security and stability.

During the meeting, discussions were held on the latest regional and international developments, as well as issues of mutual interest. The session was attended by His Highness Shaikh Isa bin Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, Minister of the Prime Minister's Court, Dr. Abdullatif bin Rashid Al Zayani, Minister of Foreign Affairs, and several senior officials.
