Manama: His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, the Crown Prince and Prime Minister, has issued Edict (37) of 2026 which outlines the appointment of a new director at the Ministry of Justice, Islamic Affairs and Waqf. This decision follows a proposal made by the Minister overseeing the Ministry.
According to Bahrain News Agency, the edict appoints Judge Dr. Riyadh Mohammed Ibrahim Sayadi as the Director of the Judicial and Legal Studies Institute within the Ministry. This appointment is on a full-time basis and is part of an effort to enhance the leadership within the Institute.
The edict stipulates that the Minister of Justice, Islamic Affairs and Waqf is responsible for implementing its provisions. The edict is effective immediately upon issuance and will be published in the Official Gazette, ensuring transparency and official acknowledgment.
