Manama: His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, the Crown Prince and Prime Minister, has issued Edict (52) of 2025 regarding the transfer and appointment of directors at the Ministry of Transportation and Telecommunications, based on the proposal by the Minister of Transportation and Telecommunications.
According to Bahrain News Agency, the first article of the edict mandates Abdulla Hassan Ishaq Al Qadhi's transfer from Director of the Aviation Safety and Security Directorate to Director of the Air Transport Directorate, succeeding Ibtisam Mohammed Al Shamlan. The second article appoints Ahmed Yousif Mohammed Al Malki as the new Director of the Aviation Safety and Security Directorate, taking over from Al Qadhi.
Further details include the appointment of Mazin Mohammed Ghulam Al Balooshi as Director of the Ports Operations and Technical Services Directorate, replacing Mohammed Ibrahim Al Humaidi. Talal Alawi Hassan Al Alawi is named Director of the Commercial Affairs and Logistics Zones Directorate, succeeding Salman Nabeel Mohammed Shakeeb.
Additionally, Adel Najat Haidar Mohammed Hassan is assigned as Director of the Ship Registry and Seamen Affairs Directorate, succeeding Mayas Al Moataz Billah Al Agha. Dr Salah Hassan Saad Al Hassan is appointed as Director of the Maritime Safety Directorate.
The edict stipulates that the Minister of Transportation and Telecommunications is responsible for implementing its provisions, which are effective immediately and will be published in the Official Gazette.
