HRH the Crown Prince and Prime Minister Announces New Director Appointments at Ministry of Interior

Manama: His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, the Crown Prince and Prime Minister, has issued Edict (28) of 2026, which outlines the appointment of new directors at the Ministry of Interior. This decision was made following a proposal from the Minister of Interior.

According to Bahrain News Agency, the edict specifies the appointment of Lieutenant Colonel Ammar Abdullah Saad Al Huwaihi, Major Fawaz Hassan Isa Al Sameem, and Major Ali Najem Ali Al Mannai as directors within the Ministry of Interior. These appointments are in line with the government's ongoing efforts to strengthen leadership within the ministry.

The edict further instructs the Minister of Interior to assign these newly appointed directors to vacant directorates. The assignments will consider the responsibilities and duties inherent to each directorate, as well as the qualifications and experience of the appointees, ensuring that the appointments fulfill the strategic needs of each position.

The implementation of this edict is the responsibility of the Minister of Interior, and it will be effective immediately. The edict will also be published in the Official Gazette, solidifying its enactment and ensuring transparency in the appointment process.
