The discussion focused on enhancing bilateral cooperation and addressing issues of mutual interest.
According to Bahrain News Agency, the dialogue between the two leaders included a review of various domains where both nations could strengthen their ties. Prime Minister S¡nchez took the opportunity to express Spain's condemnation of the Houthi attacks on Saudi vessels, highlighting the threats these attacks pose to the freedom of navigation in the Red Sea. He affirmed Spain's support for Saudi Arabia and endorsed all measures the Kingdom might take to protect its security and sovereignty.
