Her Royal Highness Princess Sabeeka bint Ibrahim Al Khalifa, Wife of His Majesty the King and President of the Supreme Council for Women, commended the royal address of His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa during the inauguration of the fourth session of the fifth legislative term. She praised the royal appreciation of the role of Bahraini women at all levels.
HRH Princess Sabeeka commended the unflinching royal support to Bahraini women as a key player in HM the King’s reform march. She also lauded the government efforts, led by His Royal highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, the Crown Prince and Prime Minister, to support and implement the national plan for the empowerment of Bahraini women, in coordination with the Supreme Council for Women (SCW).
HRH Princess Sabeeka said the royal address ushers in a new phase of work for SCW, in cooperation with all partners, so as to go ahead with developing the national empowerment plan which was incepted fifteen years ago. She noted that the royal directives have special importance with the SCW gearing up to map out the future trends of the national plan to meet the goals of Bahrain Economic Vision 2030.
