Manama: His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, the Crown Prince and Prime Minister, received a congratulatory cable from Her Royal Highness Princess Sabeeka bint Ibrahim Al Khalifa. The message was sent in recognition of the successful organisation of the 21st edition of the 2025 Formula 1 Gulf Air Bahrain Grand Prix.
According to Bahrain News Agency, HRH Princess Sabeeka also extended her congratulations to HRH the Crown Prince and Prime Minister on McLaren's first-place finish at the Bahrain Grand Prix, held at the Bahrain International Circuit. This marks McLaren's first victory since the Kingdom of Bahrain began hosting Formula 1 races in 2004.
HRH Princess Sabeeka highlighted the achievement as a reflection of HRH the Crown Prince and Prime Minister's dedicated efforts in guiding the team to victory. She noted that Bahrain's ongoing success in hosting Formula 1 events underscores the vision of HRH the Crown Prince and Prime Minister, in line with the directives of His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa, to further the Kingdom's development goals.
Furthermore, HRH Princess Sabeeka expressed pride in the success of the 2025 Bahrain Grand Prix. She commended the efforts of Team Bahrain, led by HRH the Crown Prince and Prime Minister, in ensuring the event bolstered Bahrain's status on the global motorsport map.
