Manama: His Highness Shaikh Khalifa bin Ali bin Isa Al Khalifa, Vice President of the Bahrain Football Association (BFA), extended his congratulations to Her Royal Highness Princess Sabeeka bint Ibrahim Al Khalifa, Consort of HM the King and President of the Supreme Council for Women (SCW), on the occasion of Bahraini Women's Day. According to Bahrain News Agency, HH Shaikh Khalifa bin Ali highlighted the occasion as an opportunity to reflect on the achievements of Bahraini women under the leadership of His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa. He noted that the King's reform project has prioritised gender equality, empowering women to actively contribute to the nation's development. HH Shaikh Khalifa bin Ali expressed pride in the accomplishments of Bahraini women, who have worked alongside men to drive sustainable development across all sectors. He emphasised their ability to take on responsibilities, achieve leadership positions, and become key partners in nation building and development. He recognised Bahraini women as a model of excellence in all domains, wishing them continued success in achieving their goals and contributing to the nation's progress. HH Shaikh Khalifa bin Ali also commended the significant role of the SCW in advancing women's contributions. He noted that Bahrain's comprehensive development under HM the King's leadership reflects the success of Bahraini women in securing political and economic rights, making them partners in development. He underscored that Bahraini Women's Day serves as an opportunity to highlight women's developmental impact and share their success stories, positively contributing to national development indicators.
