Manama: Her Royal Highness Princess Sabeeka bint Ibrahim Al Khalifa, Consort of His Majesty the King and President of the Supreme Council for Women (SCW), received a cable of congratulations from Shaikha Hessa bint Ali Al Khalifa on the 24th anniversary of the establishment of the SCW. According to Bahrain News Agency, the congratulatory message highlighted the achievements and contributions of the Supreme Council for Women since its inception. Shaikha Hessa bint Ali Al Khalifa expressed her commendation for the council's efforts in empowering women and promoting gender equality in the region. The Supreme Council for Women was established to support and advocate for women's rights and has played a significant role in advancing the status of women in society. Over the past 24 years, it has implemented numerous initiatives and programs aimed at enhancing women's participation in various sectors. The message from Shaikha Hessa bint Ali Al Khalifa underscored the importance of continued efforts and collabor ation to further the council's objectives.
