Manama: Her Royal Highness Princess Sabeeka bint Ibrahim Al Khalifa, Consort of His Majesty the King and President of the Supreme Council for Women (SCW), received a cable of congratulations from Shaikh Salman bin Khalifa Al Khalifa, Minister of Finance and National Economy, on Bahraini Women's Day, observed annually on December 1. According to Bahrain News Agency, Shaikh Salman highlighted the occasion as an opportunity to celebrate the remarkable achievements of Bahraini women, recognising their contributions across all sectors and their pivotal role in advancing national development. He noted that these accomplishments reflect the support provided by His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa and the follow-up of His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, the Crown Prince and Prime Minister. He also commended the efforts of HRH Princess Sabeeka in leading the SCW, emphasising the importance of its initiatives in empowering women and enhancing their role in Bahrain's progress. He expressed his wishes for continued success in further strengthening Bahrain's growth and prosperity.
