Al raffah: His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, the Deputy King, attended the fifth round of the Bahrain International Trophy series, as part of the 20th race on the cup of His Highness Shaikh Nasser bin Hamad Al Khalifa. The event, hosted at the Rashid Equestrian and Horseracing Club (REHC) track in Al Raffah, also featured the cups of His Highness's children, the Bahrain Vision Cup, and the Al Sakhir Cup.
According to Bahrain News Agency, the event was graced by the presence of His Highness Shaikh Isa bin Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, Minister of the Prime Minister's Court and Chairman of the REHC High Committee, and His Highness Shaikh Faisal bin Rashid bin Isa Al Khalifa, Vice President of the Supreme Council for Environment and Deputy Chairman of the REHC High Committee. Several high-profile guests and representatives of the sponsoring entities of the Bahrain Turf Series were also in attendance.
His Highness Shaikh Faisal bin Rashid bin Isa Al Khalifa crowned the winners by presenting the Cup of His Highness Shaikh Nasser bin Hamad Al Khalifa to Abdullah Fawzi Nass. The winners of the children's cups were also honored, with trophies awarded to winning trainers Yousif Al Boainain and Robert McDowall, as well as His Highness Shaikh Salman bin Mohammed bin Isa Al Khalifa and His Highness Shaikh Sultan Al Deen bin Mohammed bin Salman Al Khalifa for the seventh and eighth rounds.
The fifth round winners of the Bahrain International Trophy series were recognized, with His Highness Shaikh Sultan Al Deen bin Mohammed bin Salman Al Khalifa receiving the Al Sakhir Cup. Mr. George Chisholm, CEO of Texel Air, presented awards to the winning trainer and jockey of the ninth race. Additionally, Shaikh Abdulla bin Khalifa Al Khalifa, Chairman of Beyon, presented the Bahrain Vision Cup to Abdullah Fawzi Nass and awarded the trainer and jockey of the tenth race.
The event witnessed a large public turnout, with attendees enjoying the vibrant atmosphere and various activities. The races marked the beginning of the night races during the holy month of Ramadan, featuring strong competition across all events.
