HRH Crown Prince Expresses Gratitude for International Recognition of Bahraini Initiative

Manama: His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, the Crown Prince and Prime Minister, has conveyed a cable of thanks to Dr Shaikh Abdulla bin Ahmed Al Khalifa, the Chairman of the Board of Trustees of the King Hamad Global Centre for Peaceful Coexistence. This gesture follows the United Nations General Assembly's adoption of Bahrain's proposal to establish January 28 as the International Day for Peaceful Coexistence. The initiative and draft resolution were originally submitted by the Centre.

According to Bahrain News Agency, His Royal Highness expressed pride in this achievement on the international stage, emphasizing that it underscores global recognition of Bahrain's role in advancing tolerance and peaceful coexistence.

His Royal Highness also acknowledged the contributions of Dr Shaikh Abdulla bin Ahmed and the staff at the King Hamad Global Centre for Peaceful Coexistence. He praised their dedication to initiatives that align with Bahrain's humanitarian vision, which is directed by His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa.
