Manama: His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, the Crown Prince, Deputy Supreme Commander of the Armed Forces, and Prime Minister, visited the General Command of the Bahrain Defence Force (BDF). Accompanying him was His Highness Shaikh Isa bin Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, Minister of the Prime Minister's Court. Upon their arrival, they were received by HE Field Marshal Shaikh Khalifa bin Ahmed Al Khalifa, Commander-in-Chief of the BDF.
According to Bahrain News Agency, His Royal Highness highlighted the advanced capabilities of the Bahrain Defence Force, attributing them to the dedication and efforts of its personnel. He emphasized their commitment to fulfilling their duties to the highest standards, underlining the support of His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa, the Supreme Commander of the Armed Forces. This support plays a critical role in the Kingdom's comprehensive development.
During his visit, HRH the Crown Prince expressed the appreciation and gratitude of His Majesty the King to all BDF personnel for their exceptional service and readiness in addressing regional challenges. His Royal Highness noted that these efforts are in line with the Kingdom's proactive measures to enhance public safety and security.
HRH Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa also praised the national spirit and responsibility demonstrated by BDF personnel. He reiterated their dedication and selfless service in preserving the Kingdom's security and stability, embodying the highest standards of patriotism.
Additionally, His Royal Highness highlighted the crucial role of the Bahrain Defence Force in collaboration with allied nations' forces to strengthen regional security. He extended sincere thanks to all BDF members, wishing them success in achieving their objectives and upholding national interests.
The visit was also attended by His Excellency Shaikh Salman bin Khalifa Al Khalifa, Minister of Finance and National Economy, and His Excellency Lieutenant General Abdullah bin Hassan Al Nuaimi, Minister of Defence Affairs.
