HRH Crown Prince and Prime Minister’s Official Visit Bolsters Bahrain-Malaysia Relations

Kuala Lumpur: His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, the Crown Prince and Prime Minister, today met with His Majesty Sultan Ibrahim ibni Almarhum Sultan Iskandar, the King of Malaysia. The meeting occurred during HRH the Crown Prince and Prime Minister's official visit to Malaysia. According to Bahrain News Agency, His Royal Highness emphasized the ongoing enhancement of Bahrain-Malaysia relations, highlighting the unwavering support of His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa and His Majesty Sultan Ibrahim ibni Almarhum Sultan Iskandar. The partnership between Bahrain and Malaysia continues to foster new opportunities for collaboration and coordination between the two nations. His Royal Highness conveyed warm greetings from His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa to His Majesty Sultan Ibrahim ibni Almarhum Sultan Iskandar, along with best wishes for Malaysia's continued success and prosperity. In response, the King of Malaysia extended his greetings to His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al K halifa. During their discussion, HRH Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa emphasized the enduring bilateral relations between Bahrain and Malaysia and stressed the importance of further enhancing cooperation to serve the mutual interests of both countries and their citizens. His Royal Highness reiterated Bahrain's support for the joint efforts of the GCC countries and Malaysia in establishing a free trade agreement. He noted that such an agreement would represent a strategic advancement in economic cooperation between the GCC and Malaysia, fostering increased trade and sustainable economic growth. His Excellency Shaikh Salman bin Khalifa Al Khalifa, Minister of Finance and National Economy, and His Highness Shaikh Abdullah bin Isa Al Khalifa, Private Secretary to the Crown Prince, were also present at the meeting.
