Kuala Lumpur: His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, the Crown Prince and Prime Minister, today held a meeting with His Excellency Dr Hun Manet, the Prime Minister of the Kingdom of Cambodia. The meeting was conducted on the sidelines of HRH the Crown Prince and Prime Minister's official visit to Malaysia.
According to Bahrain News Agency, His Royal Highness commended the longstanding relations between the Kingdom of Bahrain and Cambodia, highlighting the significance of enhanced cooperation across different sectors to fulfill shared goals and promote mutual prosperity. The discussions between the two leaders focused on strengthening bilateral relations and advancing future cooperation that contributes to the continued progress and development of both nations.
His Royal Highness also emphasized the importance of the second GCC-ASEAN Summit and the inaugural GCC-ASEAN-China Summit in enhancing strategic partnerships among the participating countries. HRH Prince Salman bin Hamad stressed the role of these forums in facilitating the exchange of knowledge and expertise, bolstering regional cooperation, and supporting sustainable development.
Additionally, the meeting addressed the latest regional and international developments, as well as issues of common interest between the two leaders.
